La historia sigue a Santiago, un joven andaluz que decide ser pastor para poder viajar tanto como desee, tras tener un sueño recurrente sobre un tesoro escondido en las Pirámides de Egipto, decide vender sus ovejas y emprender un viaje hacia lo desconocido. A lo largo de su travesía desde España hasta el desierto del Sahara, Santiago se cruza con diversos personajes como el rey, el venderdor de cristales, el ingles y Fatima, quien es su gran amor, lo guían, aprende a interpretar las señales del universo, y comprende que la verdadera riqueza no solo está en el destino final, sino en las vivencias y el crecimiento personal del camino.

Es un libro bastante corto, me da vibes muy parecidas a Siddharta de Hermann Hesse (libro del que tambien hice un blog, vayan a leerlo si es que no lo han hecho nijejeje) es interesante ver el viaje y el crecimiento del protagonista, es un libro que recomendaria a aquellos que quisieran empezar en la lectura si no saben como, ya que aparte de ser corto no es una lectura para nada pesada y muy facil de seguir y entender (๑•᎑•๑) 8/10

The story follows Santiago, a young Andalusian who decides to become a shepherd so he can travel as much as he wants. After having a recurring dream about a hidden treasure at the Egyptian Pyramids, he decides to sell all his sheep and go on a journey into the unknown. Throughout his trek from Spain to the Sahara Desert, Santiago crosses paths with various characters—such as the king, the crystal merchant, the Englishman, and Fatima, who is his true love—who guide him. He learns to interpret the signs of the universe and understands that true wealth lies not only in the final destination, but in the experiences and personal growth along the way.

It's a fairly short book; it gives me very similar vibes to Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha (a book I also wrote a blog post about, go read it if you haven't yet hehe). It's interesting to watch the protagonist's journey and growth. It's a book I would recommend to anyone looking to get into reading who doesn't know where to start, since apart from being short, it's not a heavy read at all, and it's very easy to follow and understand (๑•᎑•๑) 8/10
