Este lo tome de la biblioteca de mi abuelita porque el nombre me llamo la atención, es sobre una madre que va en camino a una reunión de ex alumnos en un hotel y lleva a sus tres hijos, Ben (el segundo mas pequeño) le suelta la mano a Vincent (su hermano mayor) entonces se pierde y es como si se hubiera esfumado, total que al niño lo secuestro una señora con problemas mentales que termina en un psiquiátrico, Beth (la madre) queda con una psicosis HORRIBLE tanto que descuida su trabajo, su esposo y hasta a sus dos hijos, por eso Vincent crece con problemas de ira y de confianza porque aja su mamá lo culpo de la cuestión y es como si ya no lo quisiera, al final Ben aparece como nueve años después de su desaparición y se regresa con su familia biológica (a la fuerza porque el no quería) y literal asi se acaba la cuestión. 

Ahora si me preguntan ese final fue bien pocho y confuso, quedan muchas cosas sin aclarar como lo que paso con el matrimonio de Pat y Beth (que estaba ya casi que completamente roto) y entonces como me vienes a decir tu a mi que vas a obligar a de un día para otro a un niño que cuando se perdió tenia como dos años a vivir contigo bruscamente solo por tu egoísmo de "es mi hijo y hago lo que quiera con el" claro que vas a querer a tu hijo de vuelta contigo pero hermana, dale tiempo a la criatura para que pueda entender y asimilar la situación, así como fue bien difícil para ti lo va a ser para el separarlo de un solo golpe de la única persona (el esposo de la secuestradora) que recuerda y conoce como familia. 

Claro que vas a tener muchos sentimientos feos pero tampoco es que vas a odiar a tu otro hijo por un error que paso, no es como si el lo hubiera hecho a propósito y mas encima también pelearte con tu marido que TODO el tiempo lo único que hizo fue estar para ti, apoyarte y no dejarte nunca :/ en fin, el libro honestamente no es malo pero ese ultimo capitulo quisieron meter todo demasiado apretado y aceleraron las cosas sin un buen desarrollo, todo el libro paso tan lento y cuando llego el final que fue lo mas esperado/interesante lo hicieran tan a las prisas que de verdad me decepcione 6/10

I took this one from my granny library because the title caught my attention. It’s about a mother who’s on her way to a high school reunion at a hotel and brings her three children. Ben (the second youngest) lets go of Vincent’s (his older brother) hand, and then he gets lost (like he just vanished). Turns out, the boy was kidnapped by a woman with mental issues who ends up in a psychiatric hospital. Beth (the mother) develops a HORRIBLE psychosis, to the point that she neglects her job, her husband, and even her two other children. Because of this, Vincent grows up with anger and trust issues since, well, his mom blamed him for what happened and acted like she didn’t love him anymore. In the end, Ben shows up about nine years after his disappearance and goes back to his biological family (by force, because he didn’t want to), and that’s literally how the whole thing ends.

Now, if you ask me, that ending was super lame and confusing. So many things were left unanswered, like what happened with Pat and Beth’s marriage (which was already basically falling apart). And how are you going to tell me you’re going to force a kid (who was around two years old when he got lost) to suddenly live with you from one day to the next, just out of your selfish “he’s my son and I can do whatever I want” mentality? Of course, you’re going to want your child back with you, but girl, give the kid some time to understand and process the situation. Just like it was hard for you, it’s going to be hard for him to be ripped away in one go from the only person (the kidnapper’s husband) he remembers and knows as family.

Sure, you’re going to have a lot of bad feelings, but that doesn’t mean you should hate your other son for a mistake that happened it’s not like he did it on purpose. And on top of that, fighting with your husband who, the whole time, only ever supported you, stayed by your side, and never left you :/ Anyway, the book honestly isn’t bad, but in that last chapter they tried to cram in way too much and rushed everything without a good development. The whole book moved so slowly, and then when the ending came the most anticipated/interesting part they rushed it so much that it really disappointed me. 6/10
