hai everyone so i wanna be alt but my mom dosent wanna let me thrift for some reason (???) and besides whenever i do i cant find anyhting alt :( i live in poland so theres no hot topic or barely anything at all thats not fast fashion and i dnt rlly wannan buy that so any recomendations

Hii! I get the struggle, finding alt clothes can be really hard depending on where you live. If thrifting isn’t working, maybe try looking for basics first and customizing them! Black jeans, oversized hoodies, plain tees, and simple pieces can be turned alt with patches, pins, chains, safety pins, fabric paint, or DIY distressing. You could also check online second-hand apps like Vinted (it’s pretty popular in Europe) and search for specific keywords like goth, punk, emo, grunge, y2k, or band tees. Also don’t feel like you need a whole new wardrobe at once, accessories like jewelry, belts, bags, and makeup can change an outfit a lot. Hope you find some cool pieces!! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

Yezzz! That will help a lot with clothing designs. For accessories, I make mine out of kandi (Things made out of pony beads.) You can also make things using soda tabs! And i'm pretty sure you can find studs to make a studded belt (I personally haven't looked at any particular store, but I heard you can find them sometimes.) If you have a black shirt, you could also use bleach to make a design!
