ELIJAH: A Snapshot of 

My name is Elijah, and I was born on August 6th, 2012. I’m still growing into who I am, but I already know there’s a lot about me that makes me… me.

My name has a meaning I gave it myself, and it means: “The exalted, most noble one, the best of the best.” I like it that way because it feels like something I can live up to as I grow—something powerful and personal, not just a label.

Who I Am

I’m someone who likes music a lot. Not just casually—I really listen. I like singing too, even if it’s just for myself or in the moment when a song hits right.

Music is kind of my main world. I don’t stick to just one sound or one era. I like Rap, R&B, Pop, 90s classics, 2000s hits, 2010s music, emo rap—basically anything that sounds good to me. I don’t really limit myself.

My Favorite Artists

I listen to a lot of artists, and my taste is pretty mixed across genres. Some of my favorites are:

Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Tyla, Zara Larsson, Summer Walker, Kehlani, SZA, Doja Cat, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Lil’ Kim, Aaliyah, Drake, Lil Wayne, Trippie Redd, XXXTENTACION, Lourdiz, The Weeknd, Jhené Aiko, and Brent Faiyaz.

If I had to pick my “big three,” I’d say:

1. Cardi B
2. Tyla
3. Zara Larsson

And honestly, XXXTENTACION also means a lot to me. His music feels like support when I need it most, like it understands things without me having to explain them.

My Favorite Songs

If I had to choose a favorite song overall, it would be “On My Back” by Cardi B featuring Lourdiz. I really love Lourdiz’s vocals—the softness and emotion in her voice—and the way the beat and flow come together. Cardi’s delivery on it also stands out to me a lot.

About Me

If people had to describe me, they’d probably say things like quirky, charming, funny, weird, kind, nice, or even “baddie” sometimes. I guess I can be a mix of a lot of things depending on the moment.

I also like colors that stand out but still feel calm. My favorite color is cyan specifically, but I’m also drawn to blues, teals, and sometimes pink.

I’m also gay. It’s just part of who I am, like everything else that makes me me. Nothing loud about it—just real and simple, and it fits into my life naturally.

I feel like I’m still in the middle of becoming who I’m meant to be. But music, personality, and the way I see the world are already shaping that path. I don’t try to fit into one box—I just move with what feels right, what sounds right, and what feels like me.
