hello everyone ⸜( ´ ꒳ ` )⸝ welcome to my first ever blog post!! i'm so excited to be making this, since i was blogless for a while after spacehey went down in my area :( it sucked not having somewhere to express my thoughts... i couldn't even get a vpn bc my college wifi doesn't allow it. regardless, i'm so thankful to the creators for making friendrewind ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
anyways, has anyone else come from spacehey? i feel like there's a lot of new users suddenly, n im guessing that's probably why. this website compares really well to spacehey actually. it's a nice blend of modern and myspace-era (and the music player is a nice extra...). the slightly annoying thing ab this community being so new is the lack of layouts/blog layouts tbh (¬_¬") but besides that i have no complaints!!
there's a lot more active users here than spacehey. lots of spacehey users would just make an empty profile and leave! :( but i think there's less of that here, and more people use forums/bulletins/blogs in friendrewind. yay! ₍₍⚞(˶˃ ꒳ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾ i've also noticed this userbase is a bit older (spacehey was full of 13yos) which is nice.
i will say, there's a lot less like messaging/friendmaking that i can see >w< which is totally fine just a bit strange? (..◜ᴗ◝..)
overall, i like friendrewind wayyy more than spacehey :3 any spacehey transplants hmu!!

Spacehey was a lot more intimidating to me because I felt like everybody was just aura farming and messing with their profiles instead of actually chatting with each other? I dunno. I wasn't too active on that site for that reason and my final push to switch to here was the pfps breaking (call me self centered but I like looking at my pfp!! o(>n<)o )
but yeah! I totes agree with the whole lack of layouts. Not many fans of the color orange here, unfortunately for me, and I'm just too lazy to do all the code edits to make my own profile all fancy and cutesy to my taste. #BareBones (〒▽〒)
Huge fan of the features this site has tho!! Mainly the age one since it makes finding people in my age range a whole lot easier when I wanna find new friends (,; ⩌ ;,)

I discovered Friend Rewind from a guy on SpaceHey. As of right now, I preffer this over SpaceHey since it's more alive right now from what I can see of it. SpaceHey felt very dead to me. As for those empty users, I'm pretty sure most of them were bots. Why where there so many bots? Idk, I just know that It should have been more active if they were human accounts. But I have no proof otherwise. As for the friendmaking/messaging, I'm not sure what to do about that. There's various age groups on here ranging from teens to 30+ adults. So I think there's bound to be eggshells to watch your step for. Like, I could offer myself as a friend to you, but I'm kind of old ain't I? Anyways, other than that FriendRewind looks promising to me for sure. But who knows how long attention for the site will last.
i hope people keep using the site, it's pretty cool. spacehey did feel more dead than this, maybe it's the friendly ui? thanks for your comment! ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ)
