i really really REALLY want to delete instagram but it has such a grip on my social life that i cannot part with it. i'm sure a lot of people share this same sentiment too ! :/
i think it just really sucks that social media now isn't really about expressing yourself anymore. it's all just littered with advertisements and everyone seems to hate on everything... it is very saddening.
i hope that the community here positively grows and people can really connect. i found it so much fun being able to customize my profile, and having access to layout templates and everything really helped the process.
one day i hope that i can part ways with instagram, but that day will come later... :p

ZOMG SAAAAME GRAAAAH IT'S SO EVIL!!!!
i have genuinely no idea what cartoon villain decided to take something that worked just fine -- the simple premise of being able to talk to ur friends online -- and turn it into a slop factory filled with political ragebait, product placement, and overall, it kinda feels like digging in a coal mine tryin to find diamonds, except the diamonds are cobras!! ok maybe that's not exactly an accurate simile but U KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN'! :/
TRUST me when i say that i'm happy to be on here and see stuff like "i like cheez-its" or "just went to the mall!" sure, we may not be able to turn back time, but we can realize the old saying: if it ain't broke, don't fix it!! :3
btw if any of your friends can be persuaded to talk somewhere else, that would be nice. but if u gotta stay there -- don't be tempted to scroll. do what'cha gotta do for ur buddies n that's it. but that's just my advice; after all, i'm just an alien :P

it sucks cs it's the only way i can talk to most of my friends :/ tbh if it weren't for the reels function i think insta would be totally fine if you curate your fyp well... but reels just kinda suck you in yknow?
Honestly I've never really got swallowed in by TikTok, Facebook Reels and Instagram Reels and whatever that kind.
I'm just not interested much on it and all I see the content that's pretty much being offered on it was mostly slop content. LOL XD

I'd say so far as my time here, I really enjoyed it here and I've been having so much fun here.
I hope you enjoy it here too and I've met and talked with some really cool people here.
I also absolutely liked it's Mid 2000's - Late 2000's Internet Aesthetic and Vibes.... It feels quite organic and not Corporately Polished.
The community is really nice and stuff here felt quite organic and that's what I really enjoyed here so far.

Honestly for me, I used to have an Instagram Account but I just don't really use it anymore.
Because honestly I just don't find it interesting for me and doesn't really have anything that really catches my interest whatsoever

Lately I've seen a FriendRewind Friend of mine posted his/her distaste towards Twitter.
I feel like many are heading back on 2000's Internet.
I kinda seeing why MySpace wants to return to it's original version. LOL XD
They're trying to capitalize on this trend as they probably saw how this website and "SpaceHey" and "KamTape" are doing so they're trying to capitalize on that.

I doubt websites like "Facebook", "YouTube" and even "X" (Formerly "Twitter".) would be reverting back to what it was.
But yeah gladly we have websites like this here on the internet. :)
