my parents always get mad when we don’t get ready on time- which has lead to us having to get ready 45 minutes before we have to leave. But the thing is we STILL end up late because of them. they wait until the last minute to start getting ready (the thing they bashed us for) and we end up leaving 30 minutes later than what we needed to be

my parents do this too, especially my dad, he always starts getting ready 5 minutes before and then spends 20 putting on perfume and doing his hair as if he's gonna meet the love of his life while driving me somewhere 😒
RIGHT BRUH. like if you can get ready so fast do it. Then my dad leaves at the time it’s time to pick me up from something. I got out for drivers ed at 12:00? he’s there at 12:20
