Trust is a fine line—
Some may even say a hairpin trigger,
And I agree.
One minute you have it;
the next, the illusion comes crashing down—
an illusion you thought you were building
piece by piece, brick by brick.
At some point, you stop trying
to gain trust or protect it,
because what’s the point
of cherishing an illusion?
What’s the point
of making yourself endure the confusion?
When your mind feels like it’s full of pollution
You assume
That's the conclusion.
