Something that really bothers me about modern "alt" people is that NOBODY is allowed to have their own opinions on ANYTHING. "You're not alt because you don't suck up to everyone and every style." "You're not alt because you don't allow people to walk all over you." Can you people just stfu‽ Here's an fyi you DON'T need to like EVERY style or EVERYTHING that's considered out of the norm. You also DON'T need to let basic people walk all over you. You're allowed to hate them back, being overly compliant isn't going to make them like you.

As someone who is diverse enough to be booked on all sorts of genre type shows, These people are everywhere and are the worst.
Here are some things I heard in my time doing shows.
-If you look emo you are not heavy.
-If you preform heavy music you are not hip-hop
-If you don't go against everything trending your not punk.
I find those people to end up being closed minded and have that "Crabs in a bucket" mentality where no one can be happy and have to drag you back down with them when it's out of the comfort zone other closed minded Cliques that share the same mindset and refuse to grow. Seeing new things scares people.
