Work

I am a cashier, and I like my job. Nothing wrong with it, everyone I work w is nice, I make good money, and the job is pretty easy. 

What I DON'T like about it is the few (like 5%) people that have to be dicks to me at my register. Most of my customers are nice, but I have some that just make it hard for me to want to work.

Examples:

• I literally got called ugly to my face and told that I should work a job where people don't have to look at my face.
• Had a guy tell me I can't look tired (it was 10 pm) because he's a veteran so I don't have a right to be exhausted around him when my job is "simple".
• I have had to rescan people's entire orders because they forget that they wanted to pay separately (I literally almost cried at this the other day. It was like 400 items and I made sure I got all of them bc I'm NOT playing that game). 
• People get mad at me because I have to scan their ID for cough medicine bc "well clearly I'm old enough" as if I can bypass the system. 

I like being a cashier, and most of my customers are sweeties just coming in to get their groceries or stuff for back to school, but that 5% that can't just be normal....
