Pauline Dunwell Partridge

I am Pauline Groat Dunwell, though many have come to know me as Pauline Dunwell Partridge. I was born upon the twenty-seventh day of February, 1879, and have devoted much of my life to the written word.

My pen has been employed in the composition of short stories, verses, articles for the magazines, and books of cookery. It has been my privilege to contribute to such respected periodicals as Redbook, Good Housekeeping, and Woman's Home Companion. Much of my work has been undertaken in company with my esteemed associate, Miss Hester Conklin, with whom I have served as a consultant in the domestic arts.

Together, during the years of the Great War, we prepared Wheatless and Meatless Days, a volume intended to aid American households in making prudent and patriotic use of their provisions.

In an earlier chapter of my life, I was the wife of the author Edward Bellamy Partridge, though our marriage did not endure.

If my writings have afforded instruction, comfort, or a pleasant hour to those who have read them, I shall count my labors to have been well rewarded.
