Hallo all! recently I pierced my side labret n the swelling has gone down but its still really sore on the inside :C I tried a salt + hot water soak and it eased the pain temporarily but now it hurtz AGAIN!!!! should i maybe take tylenol for the pain or would it not work? any advice is helpful!!! ^_^

id recommend ibuprofen instead of tylenol as its more focused on swelling and inflammations. works like a charm for me. agreed with heartwood though, may need to get it shortened. best advice would be to actually just contact your piercer and ask them for advice + a check up post piercing. thats alway neccesary with a piercing, better than internet advice!

is the pain caused from it shifting a lot post-swelling? might be time to get it shortened. but drinking cold water should help a bit with numbing the pain, and i think i took tylenol when i got my snake bites and they were hurting. cant remember how successful it was though
