sleep, sleep, repeat - another poem

hello, i'm posting a poem again. i think i'm gonna make this a regular thing.

i don't think it's as good as my last one, to be honest. but that's fine!! i did a different rhyme scheme and all the stanzas have the same amount of lines, which is cool!! i want to start writing/adapting these to song lyrics, but i feel like i'm bad at them TwT. poems are easier to write cuz they tend to have a rhyme scheme. BUT i'm going to challenge myself and make my next one not have a rhyme scheme!! how awesum!

if i do make songs, i want them to kinda be like memoir to myspace, since i'd like to make them pop-punk but can't cuz i don't have drums </3 and i like memoir to myspace

anyways here's my  poem, lol. it's a lot simpler than the last one, which is nice :)

when i wake up, i stare at space, with a weary head turn to the line-up. silent nod to all the notes that will illuminate this place. i don't often sit in silence, for silence ends my life. so i'll listen with indifference, hope the music ends my strife. 12 a.m. and 3 p.m., to 2 a.m. again, all wrapped up in blankets, looking like i'm dead. i'm sick of all the rotting, so i pick up the pen, say i'll write for five, no ten, but i lay back in bed. sleep, sleep, repeat, watch all the years go by. sleep, sleep, repeat, and look up at the sky.
