TW: mentions of/implied sh
ugh i hate having scars, i don't hate how they look but its so annoying to hide them constantly, especially from family. i guess it helps that they're clueless. their asses have found like 2-3 of my blades and yet they didn't bother to ask why i had those??-.- like bro, they keeping me on the edge of my seat. all the girls in my family have been to the mental hospital 1-3 times. I'm a girl in my family. i haven't been yet, i don't tell my family anything, maybe that's why. is ts a pattern or like idk anymore sigh

i guess some families can be that clueless... i can't blame mine tbh :/ they had all dealt with depression and suicide before, but not self harm . typically i just used bracelets and concealer to hide them , i'm out of that habit now
i hope you get help for whatever you're struggling with , it can be hard to quit cutting :

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. As someone with scars I understand how frustrating it is to hide them. I'm sorry your parents aren't helping you, and I'm sorry they are not supporting you. I was in the same situation when I was a teenager, my mom found my blade and instead of doing something about it she yelled at me. Sometimes, parents don't know how to react and what to do. That isn't me defending your parents, but explaining that sometimes they really don't know how to react and the best way to act. Again, it isn't the best and they definitely should do something.
If it is safe to do, and if you are comfortable, I would recommend maybe asking your parents for help. Recommend that you're noticing a pattern and maybe need help. Recommend therapy, a psychiatrist, or anything that may get you help. Only do it if you feel comfortable to do so although, don't do it if you aren't comfortable.
If you aren't comfortable reaching out to your parents, please reach out to a trust adult in your life to get help. A councilor, a teacher, someone at school, a trusted family friend, anyone who is an adult that can get you help. Getting yourself help is important, and you deserve to feel better.
Wishing the best for you!

That's so real ngl, the first time my parents found out they js kinda told me to stop and didn't trust me around knives, but they didn't confiscate blades or get me any help, they just said I'd be better since school started again, and I hate hiding scars. Also bc for cosplay (I don't rlly cosplay much but still) I went to comic con and because I LOVE bsd and kenji is my favourite character, I sewed his outfit and went as him, but because his jeans are kinda cropped my leg scars were so so visible and it js didn't fit in, plus it was such a bummer to have them showing
frr i don't get get why parents find it so hard to have a normal reaction and actually try to help their child?? genuinely why would school help in the slightest. i get that i hate when they're like bright and so visible:( like why do they change color depending on temperature?? are they gonna fucking glow in the dark next?? its so awkward if ppl look i hate it...... oh and unrelated but WANNA BE MOOTS/FRIENDS? you seem cool i like bsd, pmm and cosplay and sewing toooo
