why am i hearing people talk about the site being alt-right and racist?

okay i JUST logged back in. I've seen someone on my friends list leave because of apparent use of genAI and vibe coding, and apparently stuff to do with right-wingers, racists and fascism????

I'm completely out of the loop so I would appreciate any explaination (if this is genuine, obviously). I'm not comfy using a site associated with fascism and hate, OR genAI so this is a concern to me.

X	3 weeks ago (edited) Report Because the same malicious group of admins from another myspace clone site are trying to ruin their competition (this site) in evil malicious ways just the same way they did with spacehey by crying (Racism! Predators! Gore! No censorship! No moderation!) While secretly colluding to provoke and then get all of the users of interesting top blogs banned. and ESPECIALLY any users who caught on to what they were doing. (They have also repetitively harassed/abused reporting on many other spacehey users in the past, myself included. I made sure to never break a single rule, and only be entirely G rated and only help people on my last account I made on spacehey, and they still got it banned...) Then they spam their own blogs about how bad spacehey is and how great THEIR crappy clone site is to the top by hitting f5 500 times. Now that they have spent the last 6 months killing spacehey, the realize that this has actually become more active than both sites so they have changed their target, as I expected... Don't buy their BS.

I know some people were assuming that they werr using ai to make code the site but idk if they actually have any real proof of this. I will say this too sometimes you are going to run into users who are going to lean another ways this happens on any social media. Being centralized also means its harder to moderate every little thing in real time. It isnt as easy as say Mastodon or bluesky. So many posts. Little admins. They do have rules that seem to hunt that they intend it to not be fascist. Or any of that. If you find certain type of reportable posts which I rarely if ever seen ob here, report them. Help friendrewind help the greater community.
