Hi there ;3
Yesterday I had my guitar lesson with my dad. And I was really trying so hard to keep up with everything, but at some point I started to change chords faster than I should. So my dad pulled out a metronome. I was trying so hard not to cry...
And I hate it that everytime something isn't going as I wanted I just start to cry ;{
Idk, just had to spill it out. and Idk if I chose right category for that but yeah.
Have a good day or night y'all <3
(Does this even make sense? ;{ )

i feel you.. i used to have guitar lessons for school and when i'd get stressed i'd also start to go faster...
idk if i have any advice for you, but you should know that using a metronome shouldn't be shameful, as it is a playing tool.
when i was learning a new song and i'd start to wobble my way through, my teacher used to assign me a specific speed to which i needed to learn to play at. It's a good way to control your tempo and to build up confidence with your speed.
It's ok to feel a bit overwhelmed or cry a little, but learning from mistakes and acting on them is part of the learning process! <3
Please don't beat yourself about it, cause learning the guitar can be really rewarding in the end!! <33 :)
(i hope this didn't come off as a lecture lmao i hope you're doing better now >:})
thanks <3 I mean I don't feel shame that i need metronome it's just that I want to be good at it so my dad would be proud (he still is tho)
