yknow when you think abt like a weird person or kid, it's always weird or terrible outfits, art or band or some kind of niche thing, and maybe some other bs that idk about. But I THINK that being a "weird kid" today is just another way of being labeled as different in a derogatory way, cause everyone at school and on social media laughs at weird kids. I feel like if your so basic that you're laughing at someone just cuz they're different then you contribute not shit to any community or even society. But besides that, I think being a "weird kid" should be for a different kind of person, that title should be for people who do weird stuff like TALKING TO YOUNGER PEOPLE and HARASSING PEOPLE. I've encountered my version of a "weird kid" because he wanted to talk about MOLESTING me dude, LIKE IN SCHOOL TOO. Anyway, I think people should stop slinging that "weird kid" shit around so much.

JUST talking to younger people isn't weird. Talking to older people isn't weird. Talking to people of different ages is not weird. It's good and a sign of a healthy and functioning society where wisdom is properly passed down through the generations and new trends/changes are passed up.
This is not at all what I meant, I meant pursuing romantic relationships. Also I don’t mean like a few years, what I mean is 11 and 18. I know I only implied that and I don’t mean to mansplain, but please use context clues. And while I agree, yes, it can be healthy, the way creeps use this sort of societal norm to trick kids into relationships or exploiting kids. Understand that there are loopholes through your argument, but thanks for sharing your opinion.

I feel like u didn't get what he meant..obviously he meant more as dating wise. If someone is only going after ppl way younger and not over the the legal age then yes that is weird. Talking to them as a friend isn't bad ofc like it may seem odd, but you can be friends with someone of any age. Talking to them as a way of trying to have romantic/sexual rls then that's the problem. u get it now?

clearly this flew right over ur head. what he is saying is talking to someone younger in a sexual or romantic way is wrong. talking to a younger person while in a way of giving them advice and guidance is perfectly fine. although if it is to peruse a romantic relationship/grooming/or just sexually is weird. a grown adult talking sexually to a minor is not ok. hope this helps

Yeah I get all that, but regarding "weird stuff like TALKING TO YOUNGER PEOPLE" is where I am coming from. The problem in english is that the word "and" can mean "logical or" in the context, or it can mean "both at the same time". Given that I have seen a massive trend as of this year that just being an adult on the internet in proximity to kids like in a game gets you called a pedo. Even when there is no ill or romantic intent. That's why I spoke my peace.

I explained them in the argument. Since you’re saying that you can have a platonic relationship with someone older; therefore, you will have someone using this societal norm to exploit children stating that they were just “friends” with the child. This can also lead to a bad influence for the child in this situation since they are more impressionable(ages 10-15). If you take into account what age predators usually search for… it’s pretty self explanatory if you use logical thinking.

A guy in my class has done the same too, he is a prime example of a weird guy. This guy grabs girls anyhow says stuff like I’ll r*pe y you or look at you lewd and make comments about your body. That’s a weird kid not someone who’s scene or has a different style than basic shit
