Okay, uhh well I’m tired of everything being gray and boring, like for example Apple products and technology. Tech shouldn’t have progressed past the 2010s in my opinion! Don’t come at me, like obviously new tech is very helpful and in some extent accessible, but what happened to having different kind of cell phones? Like diff brands, and not Apple! Apple! Apple! Like I’m so fucking tired of apples stupid ass iOS updates! I’m tired of them shoving ai down our fucking throats. What happened to colourful phones? Why does everything have to be rectangular and square? And gray as fuck? Like why can’t I have a cool ass hello Kitty flip and call people?! What happened to joy and whimsy?! Certainly life is not just here to be lived in sadness, routine, and fitting the “norm”???
And this sadness and grayness goes for buildings too, like McDonalds! That place is meant for kids (well the play land at least) the old play lands were so fun!!! I have so many fun colourful memories of being at McDonalds with my dad while he chased me around!! It was so whimsical feeling, like a place where you could make friends when you were 5 n being silly, but now the buildings are so sad n gray? Like it does not look like a place kids would dream of playing anymore!
Okay well idk i guess I’m just ranting but yeah lol, I hate this sadness and grayness :(

A lone person can be a “minimalist” that’s fine, do what you want. But like you said it’s truely turning the world so drabby and sad. Cause the people in power in this world want everyone to become uniform robots, removing individuality from each person. Brands wanting to have the largest audience, so they make their products “universal”. With these things being the biggest option on the market people naturally are pulled into it.
I’m DEFINITELY one of those people who miss the vibrancy (metaphoricaly + literally) of the 80’s -> 10’s era. I like layering, bold colors and patterns, old games, and especially that tacky look. People think “alt” is the new norm just cause they’re cronically online, but just look around you. The look is so robotic, bland, and sad you often look straight through it.

The same thing also goes for clothes too. Why is everything beige, light brown and gray??? Why is it that every time that I go in the mall or an outlet store to look for clothes it's all just boring minimalistic crap???? Clothing companies are no longer catering to different styles but rather just one, and they're also getting lazy on their designs too. Apparently it's to "save money" but why in the world would a multi-billion dollar company need to worry about "saving money" when they have just about enough money to feed an entire country.
For real. I miss when there would be companies with a clear fan base, like idk epic threads or smth, they’d cater towards people with styles out of the “norm”, cuz now it’s so hard to find nice made scenemo clothing, without it being fast fashion. Now we just gotta rely on second hand clothes, cuz new ones suck <//3
