I recently got a hormonal IUD (yay!) and I didn’t realize that there were so many shitty side effects. One of the most shitty side effects is PSEUDO PREGNANCY. OMFG. GAHHHHHH I DID THE THING TO NOT GET PREGNANT AND NOW ITS MAKING ME EXPERIENCE PREGNANCY WIFHOUT THE BABY. THIS SUCKS. EVERYTHING TASTES LIKE MAYONAISE IM ANGRY IM SICK ALL THE FUCKING TIME LIKE CONSTANTLY NAUSEOUS. I HARE IT. IM BLOATED AND IM SAD AND I ALSO WANT FOOD EVEN THOUGHT IT TASTES LIKE MAYONAISE INWANNA DIE

I mean—I can’t undo the IUD, but it’s completely normal. It means that the IUD is actually doing its job so I’m not too upset about it, it just kinda sucks in general. Also, I didn’t know that morning sickness lasted ALL FUCKING DAY But THANK YOU SO MYCH TWIN I AM SO GONNA BEAT THAT NONEXISTENT BABY 💪

No, it’s not mental. My body is getting a spike in a certain hormone that only spikes like that during pregnancy, so it tricks itself into thinking that I’m pregnant and then gives me all of the pregnancy symptoms without actually having a baby. It’s a real thing. I know I’m not actually pregnant, I’m a virgin

so it's basically a psychological thing, since the mind creates the illusion of pregnancy and gives ya all symptoms and no baby, basically being... somewhat close to schizophrenia
and also... virginity is a social construct.It's just a fancy way to say that ye never had an intimate thing (just as a fun fact)

I’m not talking about pseudocyesis, I am fully aware that I don’t have a baby! This is a hormonal issue caused by my hormonal IUD related to the spike in progestin that mimics progesterone. It triggers the same biological responses by registering the constant flow of elevated “progesterone” (progestin) as early pregnancy. As a result, it gives the same symptoms. I did not mean the psychological condition of pseudocyesis, there is no term for when this specific thing happens because it is just something that can happen with a hormonal IUD such as with a mirena. I am FULLY aware I’m not pregnant and when I say I’m a virgin, I’m just saying that I’ve never had sex before. I’m not trying reinforcement anything. So we could keep arguing about whether or not I’m borderline schizophrenic, but I have shit to do. I know what’s going on with me.
