i got my industrial piercing done literally 2 days ago. The pain wasnt bad personally Except for like the itching and annoying sting every time hair is in the way
However even if i thought abt this piercing for like more than a year!!!! after getting it done im like. Okay. wow the sacrifices on a daily basis are real....
Even if i got it on the side i sleep the less on (i think...), im still ANNOYED its so overstimulating ohgosh And my stupid ass forgot i cant use headphones Ok and college is right around the corner im super sensitive to sounds!!!even breathing!! Find someone stupider than me .
Anway does anyone have tips cuz i have an appointment with a hairdresser soon to dye/cut hair nd i dont really know what works best to protect my ear?

i cant't help w piercing thing but i'm on the same page w u on feeling sensitive to sounds + even breathing
i remember wearing earphones under a headphone (don't try it, it really hurts!) so another stupid here lolol does it still hurt with earphones instead of headphones? maybe it's easier for a headphone to stop noises but sometimes just by wearing earphones even help a little even though there's nothing playing in my phone. u r probably doing sth similar but i highly recommend searching 'snow ambience' and listen to that in very high volume (ofc don't hurt your ears, adjust the volume accordingly). it works even with a pair of earphones but it has to be those plastic ones that almost goes inside your ear lolol
u get it!!!(AND LOLOL THE EARPHONES + HEADPHONE anything to water down the overwhelming situation is so relatable) and trying to explain others how sounds can be triggering is such a hassle bcuz they never want to understand/accept it peacefully..earphones stay the way to go for now, i just dont want to commit to them for a while..but i have no other choice
