Its a disappointing thing. My ethnic studies class has really let me understand and I'm getting very into the class, its so interesting. It is always nice to be more educated and realize how the world actually runs. Especially seeing everything through a new lens.

I'm also taking an ethnic studies class and it's so interesting especially when we're learning about new things that most of us didn't know before. It is also disheartening though to learn certain things that happened for/because of the social construct of race.
Absolutely! The social construct is such a disappointing concept. Especially for the people in a minority group instead of the majority, without the construct, there is no minority/majority to begin with.
