is this talking behind somones back

so i had a friend(they moved away) and i wanna know if i was talking behind their back cause they said that to them this was talking behidn their back but to me this was just ranting to one of my friends.  

so ima call her de so basically de was extremly extroverted and had adhd and she was alot she was also pretty populer and i dont really know how we became friends cause im basiclally the compleat oppisite so everyday me de and this other girl would go and get breakfast at school together and every time if i yawn or say im tired or if the other girl yawned or said their tired de would always be like "OMG WHY IS EVERYONE SO TIRED LIKE ITS ONLY 7 IN THE MORNING WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE AWAKE" once she litterly said i might have insomnia and recomended me an energy drink cause i was tired at 7 in the morning when i had to get up at 5  cause yea school and i got pissed at this so i ranted to one of my friends and was like "dude im kinda getting tired of de like shes being kind of rude" like i wasnt acting like" oh de is a bish she sucks and i hate her" like i wasnt being rude i was just tired of her behavior and somhow that got out to de and she told all of her populer friends and they started bullying me tho it was at the end of the year so it wasnt that bad but yea and somhow we got back toget as friends.and something that i ahvnt mentioned is that shes kinda really dark like she will say alot of dark stuff to me(not in like a creepy way but in like a girl wtf way).she also yelled and cussed alot specifically on the bus.and so one day she goes full mode and starts ranting to me about some random thing really loudly on the buss cussing alot and i even tell her that like hey can you keep it down a bit cause were in public and she kindof does but yea.so i take this to my friend and say"hey im kinda getting annoyed with de she keeps cussing and yelling alot and somtimes shes kinda dark and i kinda want to report her to the counciler" and this friend agrees .another thing is that almost every single morning she would try to rant to me at like 6:50 in the morning and one morning i fell asleep adn she tried to talk to me and when i woke up we were at school and she was like"hey did you hear about so and so " and i replied with idc rn mabey later and that got her mad and sshe gave me a note saying"hey you not responding to me while i was trying to talk to you and you saying idc rn maybe later got me really mad and im still mad at you talking behind my back and your should apollgixze so write me an apology later"and then she told all her populer friends that i was a horible friend AGAIN.so yea was me telling my friend that i was getting annoyed at de talking behidn her back or just ranitng to me personally i think it was just ranting but idk bye my besties.

edit:also reason why i didnt just tell her that she was annoying me is cause i have social anxiety and de was really sesitive and if i made her mad which i could easily she would go off to her populer friends and say i suck which is really hypercritical
