This was one of the first days in months where the morning temperature was lovely, so I took my scooter out for a ride and listened to new albums while savoring the cool breeze. I then walked briefly, but it became too hot, so now I'm on the treadmill.
I just got the ball rolling for finding an OCD therapist that is covered by my new insurance. I'm currently reading LotR Return of the King, which is great, though I will be craving a bit more moral nuance in my next fantasy book reads. Black and white good vs evil is a bit boring for me - I like Eastern philosophy more :)
Later today, I'm going to open studio hours at my friend Sadie's art studio - I have some thrift store shorts that I'd like to make shorter, I'd like to make a painting for my mom's bday coming up soon, and I'll also be bringing my mandolin :)
And then I have weekly movie night with Benny -It's my turn to pick the movie, and I think I will be picking The Seventh Seal.

Saturday through Monday, I gave a two-hour massage each day, which was great but exhausting! And the last one was a traveling massage and the client was a bit creepy. So I'm proud of myself for getting through those days!
Yesterday, I went to open studio hours at my friend's art studio and turned some thrift store capris into shorts :) I also worked on my dad's belated bday present. It was a nice time :) and then I went to country swing dancing, but the gate to the venue was closed. It turned out they've switched locations! I wasn't aware cause their only method of communication is social media which I'm not on. I'll be sure and check Facebook next time before I head out 👍 it was fine though - the weather was so lovely and I had the windows down and listened to some Tabache 🥰
Today, I'm having coffee with Maria, a friend I made on the plane to NYC when I went on the Iceland cruise with my mom in July. It'll be the first time we've been able to hang out (she's very busy with nursing school, so I'm excited.
Later today, I have a video call and video game hangout with Omar, a programmer who I had been seeing weekly for months until recently. I hired him to help me work on a virtual pet site that I was making for fun. We did quite a bit of work, and then I lost motivation to work on it, unfortunately. Hopefully one day I'll want to take it back up again. We are going to catch up and play games together, which I'm looking forward to :)
And then I have a 90-minute incall massage tonight with a first time client. Hopefully that goes well!
