But yeah, I agree w what that other person said. It's shitty how people joke about it cause it seriously ruined so many lives but I think the "funny" aspect is how much pressure America places onto that event as opposed to how many other mass deaths in history

I think less people joke about the victims and more about how this is the few major death dates that the US takes seriously. Doesn’t care for shootings, for lynching, for bombing other countries, but god forbid their two giant towers get hit, “because this is MERICA.”
No that’s EXACTLY it- because why the fuuuccckkk are we worried about a building rather than the thousands of people that never came home from work that day, never got off that flight, never returned that phone call.
Fuck man stuff like 9/11 really makes me realize how much I take life for granted
