so, when the nervous system is overburdened with consistent and long-tracked depression it shifts that burden to your gut, throat and stomach and makes basic activities like eating or even smelling food or something being cooked nausea-inducing.
im constantly in physical pain now. i cant remember the last time i was genuinely able to relax. does anyone know how to make it easier to at least eat? its really getting debilitating. i havent had a proper meal in forever.
i take sertraline rn but i really wanna get off it. its 25mg a day and does fuck all uhmnhgty6ttfgreedswssdd help :<

I struggle with the same issue, however for me it's periodically (So sometimes it comes back after like a month), for me personally praying or listening to prayer helps calm me down. Other than that, I bought this mixture of Herbal blend with carob which supposedly helps with apetite and weight gain. I tried it for a few days and it sure did help me to eat more. However if you want to get to the root of this problem I'd say fix your mental health first.

try protein shakes or ensure, it doesn't upset your stomach and it doesn't feel like your eating, also very good for recovering anorexics
