Hey people of Friend Rewind! This s my first blog as I just joined like a day ago!!!.
Anyways, my blog is about homophobic/transphobic/ just hateful people in general.
I don't get how someone being gay affects you? Because, wow, "that person's dating a guy! It's so unnatural!"
FIRST OF ALL, how is it so shocking that a guy dates another guy?!
SECOND OF ALL, do you even know what natural means? Love is natural, you can't control it.
Also, say for example, someone's goth/emo/furry. The only reason that people judge these styles so much is because they're so unoriginal (no hate to the people that wear casual/streetwear).
"OH MY GOD, THAT PERSON IS WEARING A TAIL!!" so? It's THEIR life, NOT yours.
So, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all, because you have absolutely NO right as to comment on someone's personality/love life/ life style unless it's directly harming you, which, let's be real, it probably isn't.

One thing I have found with a lot of people who are bothered by what others do is that they have a lot of insecurity with themselves or they grew up being judged a lot by their family. If they are insecure, they take their insecurity out on others by judging them for being themselves and doing things they feel they cannot do. If they where judge by their family a lot growing up, they feel a need to also judge others and fit them into that conformity. That doesn't make it right what they're doing, but it does add some perspective on why they're doing what they're doing.
However, what you said is absolutely true, it's their life and nobody should judge them.
that's the thing. I get why they do what they do, and I can't fully hate them but it's frustrating
