unfortunately if your goal is to have an objectively good foundation and make ‘better’ art you will need to learn the foundations (3D shapes, light, perspective, color) and then some depending on what you aim to create. if you want to draw, say, landscapes, you can aim for studies that will contribute to it if that makes it somewhat more enjoyable. if you get sick of it, it’s much better to take a break than eventually getting sick of drawing too

What helped for me the most was envisioning what I wanted the art to look like so I started paying extra close attention to art other people did and that I liked! Also if you're still in school, doodle EVERYWHERE no matter if it looks good or not because if it doesnt then its ok it can be a little silly! If it looks good then try and memorize how you made it good! Pretty boring advice but its different for everyone

Well, from my own experience- i'd recommend looking into art pieces, like REALLY looking into said art pieces that would inspire you, like what the anatomy looks like in that artstyle, what makes it special and try to replicate that!! Which for me, would have lead me to the art that i make today! You should also maybe find some cartoonists to look up to while you're at it, because sometimes, inspiration is key! And to me at least, you aren't really doing anything wrong when it comes to art, as long as you're learning! Which you technically are usually doing in art, progress is very slow at the end of the day. So good luck and I hope that i've helped!
alright, thank yewwww!
