being a system is so weird

weird ass mental illness

like half the time i genuinely feel like im losing my mind because i cant have anything to myself. my memories, my body, my life. my place in the system leaves me in the dark alot, despite literally being the host. im not allowed access to so much stuff and its frustrating and its more frustrating to explain systems to ignorant or unkind people who think im making it up for attention even though we have quite literally been through medical care for this since i was eleven. its a nightmare genuinely, i wish we could all have are own bodies and i could just learn to cope normally.

It's really hard to handle this sort of thing, but they're keeping you in the dark for a reason. You're the host, you're supposed to handle the world while they handle the weight of your past. I know it doesn't feel like that, but all of you are here to help each other.
The real world sucks ass. Most people aren't even going to be able to tolerate you as a system, and those who do are probably riddled with misunderstandings from incorrect media.
You all are your own support system, and they're keeping this information from you so you can cope as best as you can with being alive. I know it feels like they're just being assholes to you, but this is the best thing they can contribute.

Also, if you feel unsafe doing so, please don't tell people you're a system. There's already so much hate in this world, and you could end up being in danger.
