Since I basically had my whole teenage life from the beginning to the end, I grew up with the influencers of that era.
I was a Charli d'Amelio fanpage and I was a fan of Addison Rae too.
Two days ago I've commented that I still see Addison as an influencer, in a nostalgic way, but many people thought it was a hate comment.
Saying that "it's a shitty opinion" that "nobody cares" "you're not relevant" "nobody cares ho".
That was my final prove that TikTok people can't go on one day without insulting

Even in Early 2020's, I knew how awfully toxic it was.
I had a female friend from Sweden and she posted about TikTok and that was like around Early 2020 - Mid 2020.
I was kinda aware about it but I haven't given it a try and she posted about how toxic it was and looking around it I could see why.
So I didn't give it a try, my young sister around that time like months later got me to install it and make an account just to follow her.
I did but I wasn't really interested on it so I uninstalled it afterwards.
So yeah, even back then it was just as notorious on how toxic it was in the same level as Twitter.
I'm not surprised why and honestly I'm quite surprised Twitter is even still around nowadays and didn't die even after the Elon Musk acquisition and controversial rebrand.
