Closed minds

Always came to wonder why people are so close minded, why do they believe in conspiracy theories that are so overboard that take the fun out of them?

Today I met with a guy at a grocery store and was absolutely astonished that the man was close minded, of course I’m not blind to the idea that people can be this way but he was saying absolutely cruel things about people’s ethnicities! Also telling me that my halal chicken hot dogs will kill me and that his pork was pure!!! He was also creating theories of why said ethnicities were “taking over” (What does this man eat if he thinks 10% of the processed food I bought in my cart will kill me)

I didn’t argue with him but I did make him think for a moment, was what he was saying benefitting him and society? Or was it all nonsense that he read online that fit his agenda?

I will never know :)
