I absolutely hate the fact how we as a society have associated "masculinity" with words like "tough" or "stoic" or "strong". And "femininity" with words like "soft" and "empathetic" and stuff.
And I don't blame anyone who automatically looks at the word "masculine" and think "oh, that must mean they're strong", because it's so engraved into society that we unconsciously make the association.
But this only further enforces traditional values without even us realizing it.

I hate how it's associated with women and for men. But it's like saying that women or soft and weak. But they aren't. My grandpa said that women can withstand pain better than men do, because we have periods, our Immunsystem is just stronger than a man's. Whereas a man, what my grandpa quotes as "When a man is sick, he thinks he's dying". Although everyone is better at things, stronger, more empathic. But we cannot push it into two categories, because it varies by a whole lot!

I don't think there's anything wrong with the terms feminine or masculine as its just an adjective. It becomes a problem when feminine men or masculine women are deem a problem. And calling a women masculine or a men feminine is an insult, when it shouldn't be.
i understand your perspective! I just dislike the way that certain qualities become subconsciously attached to a gender.

When trends try to force the idea that "we have to be in our feminine energy" on us, bro, human beings are beings with polarities in constant change and adaptation. Duality is our nature, and femininity or masculinity doesn't work the same way for everyone. I hate trends and unnecessary pigeonholing.
