Why don't my parents take me seriously?
It's annoying that they label everything I think or say as "stupid," even if I'm right. They want to take the credit because they're adults and they're always right.
My cat gave birth to kittens, and obviously she has to feed them by nursing them every day, but my dad doesn't understand that she needs food all day long, I mean, my cat is starving! And she comes to me desperately meowing and begging for food, and every time I try to give her the portions she should be eating, my parents scold me; it's like they don't want to spend money.
One day I told my parents that my cat needed to eat more and they told me it was a " un disparate". That means he's dismissing my opinion, as if it were the dumbest thing he's ever heard, but it's not. And I had to keep quiet because otherwise my dad would get really mad.
Please, let's normalize parents listening to their children. ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
(I wrote this really fast because I had nothing to do; if I write badly it's because my English is worse than a parrot trying to repeat what a stuttering person says.)
