First Post and Heatwave Troubles

Hiii, this is my first post on here (I only just made my account loll). Today has been both interesting and boring- interesting due to having to deal with the heat (I have wanted to melt into a puddle all day lmao), and boring because I'm stuck in my home town over summer away from my partner and friends from university - and my friends from my hometown are all busy as hell. 

I'm not particularly used to using social media in general - let alone one where I'm writing longform blog entries about topics I like, but I'm giving this website a shot at the suggestion of my partner (and the hope that it can somewhat alleviate the boredom that I will suffer at the hands of over the summer).

Anywho, any suggestions on how to improve my profile that anyone who comes across this post is willing to give me will be well received lol!
