hi hi! for this week's culinary assignment it was like a part 2 of last weeks assignment but I had to make paris-brest which kind of just looks like a bagel but its a kind of French pastry!
I totally messed up the first batch by taking it out of the oven as soon as it was done, which made it deflate so fast(╥﹏╥) but it used like 6 eggs, so I tried to save it by making it more savory and I'm gonna see if I can bake them into croutons I guess><
but the second batch came out a bit better, I let it sit in the oven with it turned off after it was done but it did still deflate a bit, so I think next time I just need to pipe them smaller maybe ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ
anyways here's the Paris-brest, its filled with diplomat cream, which is basically just pastry cream mixed with any praline paste(I substituted it with Nutella) and whipped cream, it taste like chocolate soft serve so yum! oh and topped with powdered sugar •ᴥ•
