I think it's cool that the Gen Z group wants to dress how we did and listen to the same music we grew up on. Hopefully they will never know the struggles and bullying we went through for dressing that way and listening to that music. To parents and teachers at school, we were just being defiant and wanting to rebel. We had to sometimes fight and barter with our parents to even step foot into a Hot Topic or Spencer's. Because back then the store wasn't how it is now, then it was dark and gloomy with screaming music blaring out from the storefront. You're just discovering what is nostalgic for us who lived through that era and wish that we could go back for even just one day to relive those happy memories for a lot of us. And I'm glad that Gen Z is discovering what we grew up with and is loving it.

LOVE seeing the emo kids coming through at work in their throwback clothes. I will say that a lot of them seem just as outcast as we were which is probably why they dress that way. i wanna give them all hugs and tell them the music never dies.
