Europe on fire

Hey guys, I wanna start by saying I don't usually blog over here bc my English is not the best and I don't have a lot to say, also I'm really upset right now so I don't think this will all make a lot of sense.

People we need to fucking lock in!!! Wildfires are destroying Europe and it's gotten to a point where I smell smoke when I leave the house and friends of mine need to evacuate. 

The situation started this afternoon but already it's baad bad. There are 8 hectares burning and 4 different burning hotspots. It all supposedly started bc of a cigarette or something like that and that just makes me so mad. How can somebody care so little about how their actions might affect other people?! It's a known fact that it's been super dry and that the fire risk has been through the roof so how could someone do something like that. 

There are power outages and evacuations and I'm so scared bc that's exactly where my grandma lives. It's not so bad for her but there are people in her nursing home who need to be ventilated and they need power for that.

Swimming pools are being emptied bc we don't have enough water supplies in our hydrants and stuff and ugh it just makes me all so maaad

Climate change has been a known issue and still nobody seems to care! Germany's politicians just care about how much money you make and that you're never sick (honestly Friedrich Schmerz we have bigger problems). And everyone who wants to change something is being ignored. There's this big problem with a legal situation. From what I understand (and I'm not sure I can explain properly) there's this law that needs to be changed to better help in situations like the one we're in right now but the law is in the Basic law (Grundgesetz idk) and there needs to be a two-thirds majority and those old white man won't vote for it bc all they care about is money!

And yes I understand all those people saying "oh yeah, but everyone has to do something in order to change something", I agree, I really do but there are people in the world, politicians, billionaires who can do so much more that us and it feels like they try to hand over all the responsibilities to us. It's not my job it's yours so fucking do it or we are gonna burn!

Because money can buy you a lot of things but you can't eat money!

I'm sorry, this made me really mad and really scared and I don't make a lot of sense rn. So just have whatever my brain produced right now and share your opinion if you want to. 

I really wanted to do another first blog entry but oh well...
