you're here, im queer and theres some things i'd like to say

I am so so so so so so so SO happy that school is almost over it is genuinely a prison in there however i do have to take multiple finals and AP exams soooo #yikes. it's ok because im choosing to look on the bright side

now onto my real problem. I'm into to punk music, and rock, and a lot of alternative genres, and alt scenes and one thing i hear the most is "The uniform doesn't matter" or "you dont have to look a certain way to be ___" which is obvs true i'm not here to argue the point that you have to look punk to be punk because that's simply not true but I think it matters people admit, I mean look at friend groups around you they often look similar, are into similar things, have similar backgrounds. so basically no. when it comes to being part of the movement, and expressing your beliefs and morals it doesn't matter how you look but finding community in the fashion, the social appearance, the hair, it's also so so so important to have those identifiers and conversation starters. idk I just get tired of people caring so much how people choose to express themselves yk?

anyway. I guess that was kinda it.
