Film Review: Longlegs (2024)

Another watch in the rewind lounge group!

This was something 😀

Scary. Like kind of a quiet scary throughout. No big jumpscares or anything, just creepy vibes and visuals. There were a couple jumpscares though jsyk. The color grading on this was so amazing, and so was the acting. The main character carries herself in such a strange manner, but it makes her compelling, I felt like I wanted to know more about her throughout the movie. Also, Nicholas Cage? I didn't even realize that was him, he did a great job.

 It was all very creepy. I do like creepy for the record, but I did spend most of my time staring at the screen like so:

I really liked the whole vintage vibe. Idk I thought that was cool and spooky. God this gave me the creeps, I felt BAD after watching this. And oh my god the cinematography holyyyy shit. Uh I found myself with tears running down my face, not really crying just, like, generally upset.

So yeah.

Uh 7/10 what the hell.
