so finally after one year i finally started my loc journey. took a while lot of convincing and a whole lot of uh guiltripping and many arguments and a few mental breakdowns..but here we are! i never went to a loctician to do my hair again because my mom believed she could do it because she knows how to do hair but i didn't believe her because whenever she did my hair and i told her what like style i wanted in it she did the exact opposite of that and it pmo. like i never trusted her to do my hair again after that.
also i can't do my hair myself ive made many attempts to try and learn how to do my hair at my grown age and i simply cannot do shit. 😐 it's just too difficult for me to do because my hair is mostly thick and curly. anyways i let my mom do my hair because i wanted to just get it done and over with and plus im tired of wearing a wig and a cap on my head to walk the dog every single time. it's fucking annoying. so doing my hair took at least a good 1-2 hours at most.
i told my mom i wanted my hair in two strand twists starting out and with no middle part and she actually ate with that. im sorry i ever doubted her but i did tell her thank you. after my hair was done and everything i couldn't help but look at myself in the mirror and see how different i look. im definitely not used to it but i feel like it will grow with it over time. i don't believe in the "ugly phase" that people are talking about because i think all stages are beautiful and sick as fuck.
im so happy that my hair is done. i can't wait to see the growth of it and see it mature one of these days. im now officially a nonchalant lightskin dreadhead lmao and can finally do the "shake your dreads" shit. but all jokes aside im happy with it my mom thinks it looks good and so does my grandparents. now they can finally leave me alone about my hair and stop talking about it. thank god..🙄
