first blog ^-^ yapping about what i've been up to

i don't think i've had a blog since my tumblr days when i was 14 writing fanfiction about youtubers and reading creepypastas, so i'm a little bit out of the loop on what blogging is like nowadays

my life has been kind of a mess this week, in a bad way :'3. i'm still financially dependant on my parents and unable to get a job due to various fun health issues, and the cons of this arrangement has really come out this week. i'm trying not to fall too hard into the pessimism pit tho, so here's some good stuff i've been doing

i started playing this game around the time the beta came out, and have been playing it off and on. i never actually got too far, just kept making different saves. now that the full launch is out, i've been doing my first proper playthrough and i'm kind of overwhelmed on who to romance... when i used to play stardew, i didn't really like a lot of the bachelors/bachelorettes so it was easy to pick. but in mistria it's like... they're all great characters??? maybe i'll just never do the marriage route and stay in a huge poly relationship with them forever
i do love hayden tho <3 i see a man with salt and pepper and meat on his bones and i get on all fours and start howling like a dog

preparing for evercold
i've been playing ffxiv consistently for... about 5 years now. the game genuinely changed my life and i don't think i'd be the person i am without it. i've been super excited for evercold ever since the expansion was announced and i can't wait for the release date to finally drop!!! i have a lot to do beforehand... finish getting my remaining jobs to 100, finish all my fate zones that i've been procrastinating since shadowbringers. i was gonna try finishing my dawntrail extreme mounts but i kind of hate farming in pf so i'll probably just wait until they becomes unsync-able.
also have high hopes for estinien in the upcoming msq... he's my favorite character and i really feel like he got sidelined in dawntrail. i didn't really get why you'd show him in the trailer twice, and then not even have him in an integral role till maybe the last chunk of quests. so far he's one of the only scions shown in the evercold trailer so i'm hoping that means we at least get a dedicated section of msq with estinien and alphinaud!!
i think a lot of people are being downers about ffxiv right now, but i trust the devs and i can't wait for the next expansion :3

watching spn (and thinking about twd)
i've been dragging one of my best friends through supernatural and am happy to say i implanted the brainworms into her successfully. we're on season 3 right now and i cannot wait till we get to dean going to hell and everything that unfolds afterwards. her brainrot show of choice was the walking dead and i had never seen it, so we made a deal that we'd watch both. we finished season 2 a while ago and man. i get it and i'm kind of upset i missed out on it. i kind of hate carl because he can make stupid decisions, and i absolutely LOATHE the governer, i cannot WAIT till he dies. i think my favorite character so far is michonne for obvious reasons. for some reason i've also ended up on the side of tiktok that loves shane and i'm like ??? good for ya'll but that man was CRAZY

anyways here's hoping things get better for me ヽ(´╥ω╥`)ﾉ i'm glad i have friends to hang out with and vent about the bad stuff
