It took a lot of willpower to not cancel the appointment, I don't have a great history with hospitals, basically every time I was at one it was for an emergency. Today was the first time in awhile where it was just a simple check-up.
As odd as it may sound I'm actually pretty proud of myself, as an autistic person who's very socially anxious being there just filled me with the intense impulse to just leave, but I didn't. I got my blood drawn and will be getting a sleep test bc I've been having problems with sleep, both being things I've been meaning to do for years. It also felt oddly liberating telling the doctor's I'm autistic (I was diagnosed as a child but due to things I won't go into I was severely in denial of it)
Local autistic girl successfully behaves like a person!
