first semester of cosmetology in the books

hiii everybody this is my first blog

i finished my first semester!! It was a chaotic semester but i learnt soo much. It has also made me realize how I enjoy doing hair, its not like my big dream or anything, music truly is but I really still enjoy doing it. Its taught me a lot and it did help me with my social anxiety and confidence which I realized the other day. Kinda crazy that once something changed you sometimes don't realize it right away until time as gone on. 

I loved working on clients and being able to dye actual human hair, I gave my friend some highlights the other day it turned out super cute! Most of my teachers are super sweet, besides one but,, i ain't gonna talk about her she makes me feel like crap. It all has made me realize how college is kinda lonely but even though its been quiet its been pretty good. And hey I get my hair dyed for free there so lolll. Its been so interesting hearing different perspectives and lives.

 Oh yeah and I also met one of my bandmates because of it, which is awesome. We're gonna be practicing tomorrow, it'll be really fun. We also were talking about doing some gigs here soon, which I'm nervous about but it'll be fun I hope. 

i find the hair chemistry so interesting, before this I hated any chem stuff, but honestly I kinda like it! All those chemicals romancing on hair. This week was really successful though, I bleached a classmates hair, dyed a mannequin the colors of mcrs bullet album (not on purpose) gave a friend highlights, had a RELAXER client and my chemical tests. Golly goodness its been busy. I'm really happy I get a small break for the summer. Sad thing is I'm unemployed :/ hoping to get a job sometime this summer but idk we'll see because the job market sucks atm. On top of that though, now that I'm off of school I can work on guitar and start designing things for my etsy shop! I'm thinking of making buttons and upcycled items, maybe keychains.. idk! so many things to do so little time. 

 yaayy summer! I can't wait to wear cute summer clothes and go to gigs and hang out with friendsss. oh and have picnics tooo
