First week reflection

So my first week at my new college went pretty well, and I now have a good idea of how the semester will go.

Unfortunately, I found out that in order to participate in my digital media class I'll have to buy stuff that's pretty expensive, so I decided to drop the class. Luckily it's not required for my program and it's prior to the drop deadline, so I'll get refunded. There is another class that I'm interested in that starts midway through the semester (it's an eight week course), so once my refund hits I'll use it to pay for that one.

The other classes are great though, and since those are required classes, I'll be seeing the same classmates often. Which could be bad or good, but in my undergrad experience it's usually good as it allows us to help each other whenever we need it. Additionally, all three classes require us to go see art, so maybe I'll make a trip out of it and invite my friends, who knows. Either way, it gives me a good excuse to leave the house and see something new :)

Anyways, we shall see what comes next...
