!For anyone who needs to hear it!

Hey! I just wanted to share some words of wisdom i came across a few months back! And some stuff from my own experience.

Progress isn't what you think. I've rewritten this alot of times already cause i just couldn't get my point clear. But basically...

Just because you've cried today or something went wrong and you couldn't quite get over it, dosen't mean that you have destroyed your journey on trying to get better. Now, i'm just 17 i do NOT know as much as maybe a psychologist would for example. Iam not an expert by any means. But one of the things iam pretty sure of, since i've been through this myself is that getting better is not a constant. It has it's up and downs. Sometimes you have a really good day and some days you maybe feel bad for seemingly no reason, or for a reason you know of and find yourself somehow chained to the bed, just laying there, maybe scrolling on various social medias and frankly, you feel like shit. But you're not doomed. You're just human. And our human emotions, they change from time to time, they come in waves. You're allowed to feel these things and you're allowed to be sad. But note this, you aren't your emotions. You're you. Just like i heard a guy saying on another social media platform: "You're like the sky. Yeah, there's a couple of stormclouds coming through, but that's not you, you're the sky."

That's all i have to say for now. I hope i helped at least a little bit. This is my opinions and based on my own experiences.

With love and hugs- Starflea

Thank you sm for the words, especially since I'm being called a "dramatic" and "too sentimental". Not only from my parents but from the voices in my head. It really made me think not of my own self but of how I react..

Though, thanks for the words, they're so nice and made me feel seen <33

I'm so glad i could help at least a little bit !!! <333 I also have those voices in my head, one technique i've heard is to imagine the mean voices in your head to be someone you know isn't very smart or just someone you donut like and that helps you with ignoring them a bit easier !
