fourth day of school.

okay so I have 1st off so I go to the library with my friends and do my homework and read and listen to music, everything's going well. then, I go to second period, math and we do a quizlet group thing and my teacher says that when we finish we can go to lunch. we finish and I go to meet my friend at our spot but I don't see her , all of a sudden, this girl comes up to me practically jumping, she introduces herself and says that she saw me from across campus and wanted to ask me if I wantedd to join the lgbtq club. now I would have but I go to a private catholic school so I don't want be bullied or looked at weird cuz I was outed at my last school and got weird looks. I tell her ill think about it because she seems really happy and I didn't want to disappoint her. also I was super awkward the whole time and I think it was obvious...yea. also idk if its just me but I think its a little weird to go up to someone and basically ask if they're gay...idk I mean I am but I was really startled and idk it seemd a little weird with the whole "I saw you across campus" so I join another friend and we go to the crowded ass cafeteria and we sit and she goes to get food and she asks if Im gonna get anything and I say no cuz I didn't bring money. she comes back with her food and she gives me a baked potato. (baked potatoes are my favorite food and the ones they have at school are really good) and so we go to the middle of campus where's there's shade and grass and we sit down and as im about to start eating, my friend comes up and is like, "I didn't know you had this lunch?" and im like wait no I don't have lunch with you and I realized I have the next lunch and im missing class right now. I panic and ask my friends to save my baked potato and I speedrun to class which is in a complete different building and it's upstairs. so im going as fast as I can and I go into my class and it is dead silent. they're taking the quiz for the summer reading. I quickly say " sorry" and head to my seat at the back of the class and my teacher asks if I got my tardy slip and I realize I forgot to get it and I say no and I ask if I need to go get it and he says "no its okay ill email them" so I take my seat and my friend gives me a look. the rest of the class goes well and I get 100% on my quiz yay. when we leave for our lunch, I explain what happened to my friend and I asked how much I missed and thank god I didn't miss much and it ended up only being 5 mins because passing period for lunch is 15 min. and I tell her about the baked potato and I look to where my friends were sitting and thank fuck they left it on the grass and I did end up having my baked potato but I kinda wished I didn't....it wasn't bad I just wish I ate smth better so moral of the story: don't go up to ppl to ask to come to their club randomly and make sure you know your lunch period and have good friends to save your baked potato (sorry ik this one was long)
