Coming from someone who’s newly a Junior, and had toxic friends their whole life till sophomore year…

Obviously I don’t know you or your school, but the only times I’ve ever been bullied was by my own ‘friends’. I’ve sadly only learned this recently, but it’s is NOT normal for you to hate your friends half the time. It took me 15ish years, but I finally joined an amazing friend group that made me realize all that other stuff was in fact not normal. Patience is a pain, but you will find your people eventually.

For making friends, it’s best to find clubs and class that aren’t just required for graduation, to find people with your same passions. Compliment people, wear stuff that tells something about you, and if you find (friend) interest in someone, try to become close with THEIR friends. Also, be ‘active’ in your classes. I’ve found that those who become close with their teachers become closer with those in the same boat; show up early to class, stay for lunch a time or two, and make conversation with the other ‘active’ kids. Obviously these don’t work for everyone, and mabye don’t attract the kind of people you’re looking for, but it’s always worth taking with a grain of salt. (And trust me, I was a total loser  freshman year, don’t stress.)

I don't have any advice I could give you, honestly in 9th Grade I was very introvert and I don't have anyone in my class to be friends with for some reason to put it short I don't really like most of my classmates they're quite crazy and some are quite childish.

But when I was in 7th Grade..... I had no idea about what would be my circle when I first started.

Until quite a while later, I became friends with a classmate that I had in 2nd Grade because we like Gaming and we shared some games.

And in 8th Grade..... I had some classmates I had in 7th Grade and I really liked the one I had and I became friends with a new classmate I had.

But yeah, I don't know what kind of advice I could give you.

But I wish you well in school and I wish you all the best all around for this year and for the years to come. :)

Coming from someone in college- You're gonna be okay :)
Freshman year can be scary and its definitely an experience going through high school. Don't be afraid to talk to people, consistency and just being chill is a good way to meet people.
And remember you're not alone- there's a lot of other teens out there probably going to your high school feeling the same anxieties you are right now.
Genuine advice for school and all: Do your work or at least keep up with it. I'm not saying you need to be a model student or anything, C's get Degrees and all, but just try your best and do what you can to not let grades stress you out :)
And don't worry about needing to do everything right now- yes Highschool is fast but don't worry about running out of time. Just have fun :) The years will go by either way.

Sorry for the huge yap!! I just had way more to say than I thought lol
