Friend acting like they're better than me.

So I said my paint chipped and I was annoyed, to my housemate, it was the first layer and I peeled tape off of it and some paint came too, big deal.

I bought the paint from lick and little greene online.Two pretty good paint shops.

They (my non-bibary flatmate) went to a small place a drive away and apparently was told that paint chips because its cheap or someone didnt do enough prep.

So all me and my girlfriend hear about in out fully painted room is how silly we were to buy online ( i cannot drive and neither can my girl ) and how silly it was that we bought cheap from b&q (we didnt, our paint is hand made in the uk, one works in association with the national trust ( british organisation that looks after national parks and sites) and the other removes plastic from the ocean and only uses biodegradable packaging) and ive had enough of being put down.

They do this with everything, we're silly and they're not.

Our room has been painted for a month or more and they havent even bought paint yet, just got a sample of johnstones from 1 place.

We live in the same house.

How do I tell them to leave it alone and stop putting me down when I actually did a good job they just a) put me down so they feel better about themselves or b) are rude.

I don't like it.
