FUCKING BLUE WAVE DUDE

I went out and voted for the second time in my life (I've voted in every election (that was known to me) since I turned 18, wasn't old enough to vote in 2024) but I went and voted, grandma picked me up and took me to the polls bc my bumfuck ass mom didn't feel like bothering, went and voted blue down the mfing ballot AND THERE WAS A BLUE NUKE, FUCK A BLUE WAVE, IT WAS A NUCLEAR BOMB- like do you know how MAJORLY you have to fuck up to turn fucking TEXAS BLUE? SOUTH CAROLINA? IOWA? NC, like fucking hell it was a good clean sweep here in NC I've been riding that high all night oh my god- Georgia has the first black woman senator, pretty sure New Mexico(?) has the first indigenous woman senator (or representative, can't remember which), like bro fuck yesssssss! There's been a couple of losses I've been disappointed about, mainly Angie Nixon, but she's running again in 2028 so hopefully Florida can stop being bums and go vote her in, and the Democrats actually back her campaign then. But it feels like for the first time in years I can actually breathe. Like I feel like crying tears of joy and hope instead of the ones I cried of sadness and anger when I woke up back in November of 2024, I feel lighter. Change is gonna take a minute to come in, but my god I just needed that bit of hope, we can push for real change soon but I need a breather because I was fully expecting for us to fail, I was so scared man
