1. When you wake up, what’s the first thing you usually do?

Depending on the time, usually reach for medication that must be taken on an empty stomach or, sadly, reach for my phone to doom scroll (well, I don't know if it's necessarily "doom" scrolling). One of those things will be first as long as I don't have to use the bathroom first. 

2. Do you make your bed most mornings yes, no, or only on weekends?

Since I retired, almost never. It's a habit I sorely need to get back into.

3. Coffee, tea, or water first thing?

Water - because of taking the pill first thing in the morning. 

4. If it starts raining, do you open a window?

No, not at all. I like the inside of my house to be rain-free

5. On a sunny day, do you seek shade or sunshine?

Shade - I'm too fair-skinned to be out in the sun too long - I sunburn easily. 

6. What color shirt do you reach for most often?

Probably some shade of blue.

7. Which snack do you buy most sweet, salty, or fruity?

Sweet

8. When a song you like comes on, do you hum, sing along, or dance even if someone is looking at you?

It depends on the type of song. If it's catchy, I probably move my head and body to the rhythm of the song. If it's a slow song, I will sing along with it (using the word "sing" loosely - i can't really carry an on-key tune even if my life depended upon it).

9. Do you prefer stairs or elevator when both are easy?

Elevator

10. At a buffet, do you try new dishes first or go straight to your favorites?

Straight to my favorites. 

11. When you pass a bookstore, do you go in or keep walking?

Go in to at least browse - trying not to buy any more books right now until I finish the ones I already have. 

12. If you see a dog on a walk, do you greet it, greet the owner, or smile and pass?

Cautiously greet and pet the dog and also greet the owner.

13. Favourite ice cream flavor you’ve bought in the last year?

Vanilla. I know it's simple but it's my favorite. 

14. Do you wear a watch daily, sometimes, or never?

Sometimes

15. When the room is a bit cold, do you grab a sweater or adjust the thermostat?

It depends - if the room is too cold because of too much air conditioning, I'll adjust the thermostat. If it's too cold because it's getting colder outside, I will try to wear warmer clothes first before touching the thermostat.

16. Do you keep a water bottle with you always, sometimes, or rarely?

Practically almost always. 

17. If a friend texts, how fast do you usually reply right away, within an hour, or later?

Probably right away if I was near my phone and seen the text.

18. Do you prefer handwritten notes or phone reminders for to dos?

Love my phone reminders - practically depend on them these days. 

19. When offered dessert, do you split one, take a full one, or usually pass?

Often pass - especially at restaurants because I'm usually too full from my meal.

20. Favourite pizza topping you order most often?

Sausage because it's really the only topping my father likes. If it were just for me, I would have both sausage and mushrooms. 

21. If you have 10 free minutes, do you scroll, read, stretch, or tidy?

Most likely scroll. I need to start treating scrolling as reward for getting things done rather than getting in the way of that.

22. Do you check the weather each morning .yes, no, or only if plans depend on it?

I check the weather each morning. 

24. At the movies, popcorn, candy, both, or neither?

Mostly popcorn, but I do like to mix it up once in a while and get candy instead.

25. Do you pick aisle or window seating when you can choose?

Aisle in case I need to get up to use the bathroom. 

26. When someone holds a door for you, do you speed up, smile and stroll, or take over the door?

Speed up

27. Do you prefer board games, card games, or word games at gatherings?

I like them all.

28. When music is playing at home, is it typically soft background or turn it up?

Turn it up!

29. Do you try seasonal drinks/foods when they show up often, sometimes, or rarely?

Sometimes 

30. Walking pace most days: unhurried, steady, or brisk?

Steady

31. When you see fresh flowers at a store, do you stop to look, give them a quick glance, or pass by?

Pass by - unless I'm getting them for somebody. 

32. Favourite hot beverage you make at home?

Tea (although I do have decaf coffee every morning).

33. Do you keep snacks in your bag/desk yes, no, or only during busy weeks?

Yes, now I do. Though it's my desk at home since I'm retired. Didn't really keep snacks at my desk at work back in the day.

34. If you find a comfy chair at a party, do you stay put or roam and mingle?

Usually stay put, particularly if the parties are small. 

35. Do you prefer sunrise or sunset in practice (which do you catch more)?

I like both but I probably catch more sunsets.

36. When you try a new restaurant, do you order the special or your “safe pick”?

Probably safe pick unless the special is a food  I know i already like. 

37. On a weekend morning, are you out early, slow to start, or somewhere in between?

Slow mornings 

38. Do you like rain walks, rain views from inside, or rain naps?

Rain views from inside. 

39. When you see a photo spot, do you take a picture, take a mental note, or keep moving?

I might snap a quick pic.

40. If you hear a good joke, do you retell it the same day, later, or just enjoy and move on?

I will retell it if i remember it.
