glow in the dark stars

during Halloween in primary school during I believe P4. I was given by and old friend of mine a single sticker sheet of glow in the dark stars. I really wanted more but I wasn't a prick so I didnt ask for more. 

I had my older brother help me put them up, my bedroom ceiling slanted allowed me to cover the bottom half while he did the top. I had a lot of fun sticking them all over and waiting till nighttime to see them glow. I didn't see my brother much growing up so I liked spending time with him. he was 8 years older than me which meant he was so much cooler in my eyes.

its about 11ish years later and they still glow!! not as bright as they used to but they're still a luminous green after I turn off the light.

I feel so damn nostalgic anytime I notice the faint glow. brings back the whole night i got them. even smal details pop up like how I dressed as a Witch. or how I bobbed for apples, or wasted money losing at whack the rat for raffle tickets. I remember eventually winning a glowstick and giving it to my friend because he missed his dad and wanted to go home. and i remember eating chocolate cake one of the mums brought for the bake sale sold for 50p 

omg the 50p cakes from the bake sales were amazing. or the Scottish tablet that melted your teeth ughhh so good.
